We’ve got spirit; yes we do! We’ve got spirit; how about you? School spirit took on a whole new meaning for The University of Tennessee Southern (UTS) when the local Bank of Frankewing announced its unprecedented partnership with the University. Checking account holders now have the opportunity to receive a School Spirit Debit Card customized with a UT Southern design.
While customed debit cards aren’t a new concept, this debit card is distinctive because it gives cash back to UTS every time a card is used for a qualifying purchase. It’s also the only debit card of its kind in The University of Tennessee System.
“In 2021, we supported the University of Tennessee and Martin Methodist College merger with a one-time donation to the Founder’s Circle, but we wanted to create an ongoing path to support the newest University of Tennessee campus. The release of this new card is the latest step in our ongoing partnership with UT Southern,” said Bank of Frankewing CEO David Barnes.
