Every gift matters to the university, no matter the size. The campaign is built on participation, making it possible for every employee to be a part of the campaign.
When we invest in our campus, we support our legacy and inspire alumni, friends and community members to do the same. Your participation shows that you support our mission and reinforces that UT Southern is a worthy investment for philanthropic support.
Everyone who wants to! All UT Southern faculty and staff are invited to participate.
If you are a graduate of UT Southern, Martin Methodist or another UT campus, your gift will also be counted in alumni participation rates.
Support what matters most to you. You can direct your gift to the college, department, program, scholarship or fund that is most meaningful to you. Every area of UT Southern benefits from your generosity.
The size of your gift is entirely up to you. The UT Southern Family Campaign is focused on participation, not gift size. Every contribution, large or small, helps strengthen our campus and create a lasting legacy for future Firehawks.
There are several convenient ways to support the UT Southern Family Campaign.
Payroll deductions
One-time or monthly deduction from your paycheck. Payroll deductions will take about a month to be reflected. You may create a new payroll deduction, or increase or cancel your existing payroll deduction via the payroll deduction form. At this time, your current payroll deduction information will not be available on this form.
Online gift
One-time or recurring online gift via credit card, digital payments (Paypal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or bank transfer. Your one-time gift or first payment of your recurring gift will be processed when you submit your gift details and payment information. Recurring gifts are not offered through PayPal or Venmo.
Yes! Gifts made to any fund at the University of Tennessee from July 1, 2026 to present will be counted.
Any gift that has been processed through the UT Foundation from July 1, 2026, through the end of the campaign period June 30, 2027.
Yes! Your gift is considered by the IRS to be a charitable contribution and is 100% tax deductible. Please note that gifts to athletics for ticket or parking benefits are not tax deductible.
No. The campaign focuses on individual participation. Faculty and staff are encouraged to make a gift in an amount that is meaningful to them.

Gifts to the University of Tennessee Southern are processed by the UT Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is the preferred channel for all private contributions that benefit students and faculty at the University of Tennessee. Learn more.
